Where our products are grown

Origins matter. The best tasting produce comes from the world's best organic farms.

Almonds

Our Organic almonds come from California's Central Valley. Nestled between the coastal mountain ranges to the west and the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the east, this expansive valley boasts some of the most fertile soil in the world, making it the ideal location for almond farming.

Blessed with a Mediterranean climate characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, the Central Valley provides the perfect conditions for growing a wide variety of crops. Its long growing season and ample sunshine make it an ideal environment for cultivating almonds, one of California's most iconic crops.

Pecans

Our organic pecans come from farmers in Central Texas, in the fertile lands along the Brazos River. Centuries of sediment deposited by rivers have enriched the soil, encouraging pecan trees to thrive. The nutrient-rich soils, combined with the region's abundant sunshine and moderate rainfall contribute to optimal growing conditions and abundant harvests.

But it's not just the soil and climate that make this region special—it's the intricate network of rivers and streams that wind their way through the countryside, providing essential water for irrigation and creating microclimates that further enhance pecan production. The gentle slopes of the hillsides and the natural drainage patterns of the land help to regulate moisture levels and prevent waterlogging, ensuring that the roots of the pecan trees remain healthy and strong.

The region is well known for its family-owned orchards, with agricultural practices passed down and perfected from generation to generation.

Cashews

Our cashews come from Binh Phuoc province in Southeastern Vietnam, an area renowned for its cashew agriculture. A tapestry of vibrant, family owned and operated cashew orchards dot the rolling hills and valleys of this region.

Binh Phuoc's suitability for cashew agriculture is no accident—it's the result of a harmonious blend of geography, climate, and agricultural expertise. The province benefits from a tropical monsoon climate, characterized by distinct wet and dry seasons, providing the perfect balance of rainfall and sunshine for cashew trees to flourish. The region's rich, well-drained soils provide the ideal foundation for cashew cultivation, ensuring that the trees have access to the nutrients they need to thrive.

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Binh Phuoc's cashew agriculture is its ability to uplift and empower the local community. Cashew farming provides a vital source of income for thousands of families in the region, offering economic opportunities and fostering sustainable development.

Maple Syrup

Our maple syrup comes from Adirondack Maple Farms in Upstate New York, within 50 miles of our bakery. The Adirondacks offer the perfect combination of climate, geography, and natural resources that make it an ideal place for farming maple syrup. The region's cold winters and warm spring days create the ideal conditions for sap to flow from the maple trees, while the area's well-drained soils and abundant rainfall provide the perfect environment for healthy tree growth.
